This is a win for them, for I am a servant of the people and their voice. Ultimately, this is not about me, but “we the people” of the 4 th District and so I want to thank the voters and citizens of the District who have put their confidence in me and cast their ballot. A political campaign is a large team with many individual parts, and I am thankful for every person who has given help and support to me in this campaign. I also want to thank all of the many volunteers, GOP chairs, and elected officials who have believed in me and tirelessly worked and helped me to be successful. I want to give special thanks to Senator Amanda Chase who has been an indispensable part of this campaign and a great friend. Thank you JR Gurley, Bert Demicell, Bishop Leon Benjamin, and Chris Shores for all your hard work. I want to thank my great campaign team who also has served faithfully and sacrificed a tremendous amount for this win. Thank you for your continued loving support and tremendous sacrifice. I want to thank my wonderful family – my wife, Jade, and my four children, John Mark, Zachary, Adrianna, and Kayla. I want to thank Shion Fenty for running a great race and being a gracious and godly candidate. I want to first thank God for this victory and for His enabling and sustaining grace. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the great people of the 4 th District and this great nation. This has been a remarkable journey over the last 6 months for me and my family.
